Developer

I'm an intermediate programmer interested in many different technologies. I'm just starting my professional career and I have lots and lots to learn, but I'm eager to get there. Recently I've been working as a system designer for the University of Jyväskylä focusing mainly on web development.

Systems designer - University of Jyväskylä

My responsibilities include development, maintenance and support of university’s web pages using Plone CMS. I’ve also developed independent systems for university’s internal use using various web technologies and frameworks, including python, react, and javascript.

Rental worker - Work Point Mikkeli Oy

Aug. 2009 - Jul. 2011

Many various short to medium term jobs for various companies in Mikkeli area. Work varied from customer to customer. Longest contracts were with Hertz car rental as a car rental worker, and with Ahlstrom glass fiber factory working as a machine operator.

News paper delivery man - Etelä-Savon viestintä Oy

Jun. 2009 - Jul. 2010

Work included of picking up the morning’s news paper from the press during the night and delivering them to customers before morning.

I’m fairly familiar around Unix operating systems. Previously I’ve used RHEL and Fedora distributions.
